Loans FAQ

No. If you’re not already a member, we can open your account as part of the loan process.

No. If you live within 50 miles of Grand Forks, you can become a member and get a loan.

There is no minimum credit score needed to qualify. While we don’t guarantee approval, we assess every applicant on a case-by-case basis and do our best to help our members.

If your self-employed or have 1099 income, you can apply for a loan. We will just need your most recently filed tax return to assess your income.

You can still apply for a loan. Just bring in any documents showing you have current income.

Yes. Collections do not automatically disqualify you from approval.

If you’ve filed for bankruptcy within the last ten years, you could still have opportunities to get a loan to purchase a vehicle or consolidate debt. We can assess your credit profile to see if we can approve you.

If you just started a new job (under 6 months) and are looking at purchasing a vehicle or RV, you can apply for a loan. Bring in your offer letter or have your supervisor give us verification of your employment. Bringing in your last paystub or W2 from a previous employer can prove a stable employment history.
